Dover Youth Hockey Association is excited to partner with Bauer Hockey to offer The First Shift program!

The First Shift provides a low-cost opportunity for young athletes and their families to try the hockey for the first time.  For just $199, players are provided with a FULL set of equipment, including a helmet, stick, skates and all pads.  Players then participate in a 6-week "Intro to Hockey" program run by DYHA coaches, held Sunday mornings at the Dover Ice Arena.  
 

The program’s goal is to offer a positive, fun environment for players to learn the game.  It also offers new hockey parents the opportunity to learn about the game- from equipment to player safety to rules- surrounded by other new hockey parents.
