Congratulations are long overdue for several Granite State Wild teams that ended their 2019 seasons with league championship titles!

The  Wild Peewee Major 12U team won a hard fought 5-4 victory over the #1 seed CT Chiefs to take home a trophy in the New England Premier Hockey League Premier division.  The team was making its 4th consecutive appearance in the title game after defeating the Cape Cod Lighting 2-1 the previous day.  The team twice battled back from 2-goal deficits and locked down their net against a 6-on-4 power play for the Chiefs during the closing seconds of the game to win in dramatic fashion.

The Wild Squirt Minor 9U team will also get to hang an NEPHL division bannerb after defeating #1 seed MaxPro Jets to win the Squirt Major Elite Division.  The Wild Squirts rolled into the finals red hot after beating the RI Junior Blues 7-1 and continued their high scoring ways, beating the Jets in convincing fashion  5-1.

The Bantam Select 1 team entered the Granite State League Tier 4 tournament weekend as the #1 seed and lived up to that billing.   After a strong effort against Kearsarge the team lost to the Mount Washington Valley Eagles, setting up a quarterfinal match with the Concord Capitals.  A solid win against Concord gave the team a bid to the championship game where they bested a tough New Hampshire East Eagles team to take home a GSL crown.

The Wild Pee Wee Select 1 team also picked up hardware in the GSL, winning the Peewee Tier IV championship.  After going 29-10-4 during the regular season, the team won 3 of their 4 playoff contests and beat the Back Bay Chiefs 4-2 in front of a packed house at the Rochester Arena to close the season with a title.

Congratulations to these and all of our teams on a great season!
