Greetings Dover Youth Hockey Family! 

Happy Friday to you all. By very quick means of introduction, my name is John O’Brien, and I am happy to serve you all as the President of the Board of Directors for the Dover Youth Hockey Association. I am delighted to share that since joining the Board in May of this year we have been collectively working hard on a great deal of amazing things to make this year’s experience with Dover Youth Hockey a tremendous one! 

With the hockey season right around the corner, I wanted to formally announce and highlight Adam Nicolas as DYHA’s new skills provider. Adam's resume is impressive, including working with NHL players and GM’s across the National Hockey League. As a Non-Profit organization volunteer participation is paramount. Thank you all so much to help make the experience at Dover Youth Hockey a great one for all of our athletes and associated families and friends. THANK YOU! 

In the past two weeks we have made 2 announcements following our last Board Meeting. If you have not already visited our Facebook Page, please do and tag/like it. We will take advantage of the distribution capabilities of Facebook as an alternate means to provide better communication to you all this year. Here are the announcements: 

1. On September 13th we will be hosting our annual golf tournament. Please register 

online:  https://www.doverhockey.org/golf If you are not a golfer and wish to attend, 

support, become a sponsor or donate please reach out to me directly. We can always 

use your help to make this a legendary event!

In closing I want to thank you all for making DYHA an unbelievable place to be. I have been lucky enough to coach within this organization for 5 years and the experience has been unbelievable. I often comment that this is “one of the best things in which I have done with my life.” You have my commitment, and the commitment from our Board, to make DYHA a fun and safe place for children of all ages, interests and skill levels!
