The new board would like to thank the departing board members for their time, hard work and dedication to the organization over the past several years.  Thank you Tracie Baccon, Kim Fuller, Ryan Kaichen, Joe Riche and Dan Furman!

As we prepare for the 2016-17 season the board will be looking at ways to build on the great hockey experience being provided for all DYHA players.  We encourage you stay up-to-date with organizational developments, new and events via the DYHA website and Facebook page.

We ask for your continued support and we hope to encourage increased volunteerism.  As a non-profit organization we are helped tremendously by the donation of time.  The board will soon be selecting members for various steering committees.  A list of committees will be published soon and we invite anyone who is interested in participating on a particular committee, or is willing to help out in any capacity, to email your interest to

The board will also be working to foster an increased level of communication between the BOD, coaches and parents.  Starting at the end of June, a monthly letter from the president will be published to provide a more regular update on organizational activities.

Parents are also encouraged to attend any of the board meetings.  All meetings are open to the public.  The date of each upcoming meeting can be found at the top of the “Board Meeting Minutes” page of the website.

Lastly, if you would like to communicate any ideas, questions or comments, please email or speak directly to one of the board members or Mike Young, our Director of Hockey Operations.
