Young, Negm hired by local HS programs

DYHA would like to congratulate two members of our organization, Mike Young and Geoff Negm, who were recently hired as head coaches of two area high school hockey programs.

Mike Young, our Director of Hockey Operations, has been selected as the new head coach at Dover High School. Mike started playing hockey at age 6, played for Dover High and has served as an assistant coach at Dover for the past 8 years.  During that time the program made eight consecutive playoff appearances, three trips to the Division II championship and two titles.

Geoff Negm, the head coach of our Granite State Wild PeeWee Major team, has been tabbed as the new head coach at Noble High School in North Berwick, ME.  Geoff played youth hockey for Somersworth/Berwick and the NH Jr Wildcats, played a year at Spaulding High School and then played junior hockey in the IJHL for the West River Wolves and Salem Ice Dogs.

Mike and Geoff will both continue in their current positions with DYHA.

As DYHA strives to provide our young athletes with the best possible player development, we are very happy to count Mike and Geoff as two more members of our staff who have been chosen as head coaches at the high school level.  They join Peter Harwood, assistant coach of the GS Wild Squirt Majors who is also the head coach of St Thomas Aquinas, and Ray Terrell, head coach of the GS Wild Mite Majors who formerly served as head coach at Dover High School.
