Dover Youth Hockey Association is seeking to fill 3 seats on the Board of Directors that will become vacant when the 2017-18 member term concludes at our Annual Meeting in May. At that time our current Treasurer and Secretary will be completing their service to the organization. We will also be looking to fill an open seat that was vacated earlier this year.
The Board of Directors is comprised of 7 current members of the organization who volunteer their time to represent the interests of our players and their families, providing operational and financial guidance and setting our future direction. The Board’s role is critical to sustaining and growing DYHA, so we encourage all members who are interested in helping in this capacity to contact the current President (Jeremy Forest) at email@example.com, especially those with experience in business and finance. (A hockey background is not a requirement!)
The election of our new Board members will be conducted as part of the DYHA Annual Meeting which will be held at the Dover Arena in May. A date for this meeting will be announced soon. Following the member election process the new board will elect an Executive Board, choosing from among its members a President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary to serve for a one-year term. .

Interested members are also encouraged to attend an upcoming Board meeting. Meetings are typically held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at the Dover Ice Arena.
