BINGO Volunteering

This is the #1 fundraiser for DYHA to help keep tuition and fees as low as possible, and is a great way to help offset your player's tuition.

What does a volunteer do?

There are a variety of tasks to be done. We try to rotate positions to find the right task for each of our volunteers. Parents are trained in selling rip tickets, call backs and general help for end of night clean up.

When are volunteers needed?

BINGO happens each week on Sunday at Dover Bowl, 887B Central Ave, Dover, NH. Currently, the hall is at a minimum number of BINGO players. The BINGO chairperson assembles a schedule based on parent availability each month.

How long is a shift?

Hours are 11:30 - 4:00 (slight time changes for some dates such as Easter)

How much does it take off my tuition?

BINGO volunteers earn $18/hour tuition credit.

How long is the commitment?

Because there is a bit of training involved, parents are required to sign a Volunteer Agreement with the league committing to working for 1 full year. (If you register now, your commitment is through the 2021-2022 season. A new volunteer form is signed each year.)

Ready to sign up?? Great! We appreciate your support!

*A background check is required by the NH Racing and Gaming Commission/Lottery for volunteers.
